So Much Meat...and Oh, So Sweet

 

Hello all.

This was an image that had been percolating in the back of my mind for quite some time now.  A picture demonstrating a small, but steadily-growing club in the pop culture landscape.  Big tits, big asses, big glasses.  You can run, but you can't hide from the sensual delights of the chubby nerd girl.

Personally, I think we all owe our thanks to the club's "unofficial" founder, and the one who arguably started it all...Velma Dinkley.  For going on 20 years now, this girl has pretty much been THE sex symbol of the Scooby Doo franchise.  Of course, that's NOT how it was supposed to be. When Scooby Doo was first created, Daphne and Velma's roles were very clearly defined, with Daphne being the obvious eye candy while Velma was just the chubby nerd (I mean, it was 1969...what did you want?). But somewhere along the line (you can argue among yourselves as to exactly WHEN), the fandom completely flipped the script by being pretty open with the consensus that, given the option...yeah, they'd rather fuck the chubby nerd. And not only did Warner Bros. begin to take notice, but in time, they actually started leaning into it. When the series, "Scooby Doo and Guess Who?" aired in 2019, the animators introduced the world to THICC Daphne, tweaking her original character design, so her body type looked more like Velma's.  Does anyone ACTUALLY think that was just a coincidence?

Still, with the arguable exception of Meg Griffin (who I think we can largely agree was used more as a punching bag than anything else), Velma largely stood alone in her sex symbol status for many years.  That is, until Blizzard brought out Overwatch and introduced us to the plump perfection that was Mei-Ling Zhou.  A few years after that, the "Life is Strange" games gave us Alex Chen, who, while maybe a bit leaner than the other club members, was still blessed with a delicious layer of baby fat, not to mention a pair of full-plump lips to imagine...well, whatever you want to fantasize about them doing.

Even more recently, the club has expanded yet again when the new animated series, "Batman: Caped Crusader" gave us a retooled version of Harley Quinn, making her Asian, as well as pleasantly chubby.  Hmm...sensing a theme here.  I wonder if the showrunners drew inspiration from Mei and Alex when they were doing the redesign.  Still, the more, the merrier, in my opinion.  Of course, I'd already settled on the image I wanted when Harley came along, so there was really no room for her here.  But I'll probably be getting around to her sooner than later.

From here, we can only hope that the club continues to grow, But for now, enjoy the image laid out before you, featuring the club's three most prominent members.  It's a meaty smorgasbord laid out before you, ready to tantalize you with their delights.  And as always comments are appreciated.  Enjoy. ^_^
