It Is Time to Experience Your Arousal

This is a little out of left field for me.  Outside of a pic I drew on DeviantArt, in a "one-and-done" moment of inspiration, Steven Universe is a little out of my wheelhouse.  But someone requested a recent pic of "Zooman", Jay-Ten, and after giving it some thought, I felt I could probably pull it off.  However, while a nude picture of Jay-Ten was all he wanted to see, I felt I could tweak the pic slightly and even make some improvements, taking the concept of The Zoo from the show and expanding on it explain the premise of this image.

To be honest, I always pitied the Zoomans from the show, which I suppose was the whole point.  After all, they had been coddled and co-opted into such a pathetic state of complete and total dependence that there's no possible way they could EVER survive on their own, even in the most hospitable of environments.  However, this had been going on for generations, indicating that the Zoomans were breeding during their captivity (generally through couples being selected, via the...*eeuch!*..."Choosening").  But the only problem with that is, the Zoomans exist in such a state of arrested development that, even after being paired off, they still have the minds of prepubescent children.  As such, it stands to reason that they'd have virtually no understanding of sexual interaction.  Seriously...put his "WHAT" in her "WHERE"?  That would never OCCUR to them.  So how have they been reproducing?

The best answer I can think of would be that The Zoo's system would eventually integrate a secondary level of activity, for certain members to participate in once they reached a certain age (in all likelihood, their early-mid teens).  The best way to approach this would be that, throughout the day, male/female pairs would be guided to a remote section of the habitat (one pair at a time) for a set period, where they would engage in exercises to familiarize them with sexual practices.  They would likely start by being naked together, then start to masturbate, eventually move on to touching each other and possibly even move on to engaging in oral (and possibly even anal) sex, allowing them to experience intercourse without any..."unauthorized" reproduction taking place.

This process would likely go on for some time, with random pairings between still-"Un-Choosened" males and females.  Not only would this ensure that all Zoomans would regard any partner as a potential mate, when the time comes.  But it would also likely be used to test which pairings would be the most sexually attracted to one another in order to promote fruitful and efficient breeding.

This brings us to the pic in question, with Zoomans Jay-Ten and Wy-Six having been paired off for this particular day.  As they start to touch themselves, the "Little Voices" instruct them on the best ways to enhance their pleasure, encouraging them to be as open as possible.  And as they moan and tell the Voices how good they feel, the system is fed invaluable data on their sexual appetites...date that will allow them to "Choosen" the best partner possible.

All,-in-all, I'm pretty happy with this pic.  When the request was made, he wanted me to draw Jay-Ten as being quite buff, which I was okay with doing (seeing as how she is a little on the thick side).  As for the backgrounds, I decided to experiment a little bit with some new tools.  The end result was something that's a bit rustic, I'll admit.  But it's still serviceable.  And I don't think anyone is going to be stopping to stare at the flowers anyway.

In any event, that's all for now.  Hopefully everyone likes this entry.  Like I said, SU won't be a common site among my artwork, but I think this particular image will be a welcome addition, regardless.
