Come In. You KNOW You Want To.

 

I won’t lie.  I had the pencil work for this pic done, but I actually had my eyes set on completing another project today.  A project I felt sure I could bang out in just a couple of hours.  However, sometimes real life has a way of stepping in and saying, “Maybe you should do this one after all”.

Case in point, when it was announced yesterday morning that fan-favorite fighter Mileena would finally be making her long-awaited appearance in the Mortal Kombat 11 game.  To that end, I opted to put my intended project on hold to complete this one.  What can I say?  Call it fate.

With the overall design, I felt it was best to compromise, since there have been several changes over the last few games.  While some people can argue that NetherRealm may have bent over backwards a little too far, trying to make their females less objectified in their appearance for MKX and MK11, the same argument could also be made that the stripper outfits and the “What is this, 1995 softcore porn?” fake titties on the MK9 girls was a bridge too far in the other direction.  Still, one can see the appeal in the hardbody muscle tone of the MK9 designs (always had me a weakness for muscle girls).  So, I opted to hang on to that aspect while marrying it to the more sensible proportions of the later games.  Throw in some sexy lingerie which still shows off her funbags and her pussy (because, of course…it’s MILEENA) and I came up with a nice medium that I think everyone will appreciate.

But the TRUE dividing line comes with regards to Mileena’s face.  Mileena’s face had only ever been one way since until MKX gave them the option to see another interpretation of her design.  So, to that end, I opted to do two versions of this pic, one with classic face and one with the MKX face, so everyone has the option to fap to whichever version they like more.

And thus, here we have Classic Mileena, with her full-on Tarkatan facial features.  Honestly, the longest part of this process was obviously going in there with a 3-pixel brush and putting all those teeth in.  But it was worth it to go that extra mile because I really think I captured it.  And while some people will say you’re a freak if this Mileena does it for you, hey…one look at that seductive gaze and that rockin’ body and you’re gonna ignore that one little piece of real estate pretty quickly.  As for her holes…well…two outta three ain’t bad.

However, here we ALSO have MKX Mileena, with her reinterpreted design, her Tarkatan features merely integrated into her face, rather than taking it over.  This Mileena is obviously appealing in her own way and one can see why many would hail her as an improvement.  Though I can’t help but find it ironic that for all the scaling back MKX did in terms of the sexual exploitation of the female characters, sex would still be the primary motivator behind this redesign.  Because let’s face it…the ONLY reason they gave Mileena lips was so guys could fantasize about her giving them a blowjob.  And anyone at NetherRealm who tells you different is just flat-out LYING to you.

But feel free to decide for yourselves.  Whichever one you prefer, that’s up to you.  After all, that’s why I drew them both.  Either way, if you love Mileena, that’s what matters.
